Of Glencore's quest for riches vast,
Its gaze on Teck's coal treasures cast,
A union sought for to pursue,
Or buy the unit's worth anew.
In oil's unstable realm we see,
Futures slip 'fore our very eyes,
Whilst eager minds on US rates be,
The tightening market set aside.
The Sterling hangs in balance fine,
As rate rise bets may fade away,
Awaiting wage and age's sign,
If weak, its fortitude doth sway.
