In Poland there commences a vote,
To choose the leader of men of note.
For Ukraine they pled, debate turning red,
The wine of democracy, from the cask is outpoured, good'n'noble folk.
Now Russia and Israel, a delicate dance,
Shattered by Hamas' truculent stance.
Their kinship dost wane, in the Ukrainian plane,
As the ale of discord tasks each with a curious prance.
Rejoice, economists do, the U.S. remains bold,
The chalice of prosperity they confidently hold.
No more the dread recession's ghost,
Inflation's sting too hath lost most,
Just like the wine that grows better when old.
