In France, fair stocks fell and then did rise,
In wake of elections, to our surprise.
Like wine uncorked, alliances tread,
Towards political frailty, uncertainty spread.
Await we are, with bated breath keen,
For profit's whisper from the Chase's queen.
Like an ale house dice throw, stakes grow high,
On indices price, where fortunes lie.
With the Citigroup's coffers ye shall hear tell,
Of gains and losses, do they fare well?
Inflation's mirror held to June's light,
We pray for wealth in this fiscal night.
